Kristin Cheung 冮雪莉

She/her/hers | Executive Director

Kristin Cheung is a fundraiser and arts administrator with 10+ years of experience working in arts and non-profits. Born and raised in amiskwaciwâskahikan territory (also known as Edmonton), she now lives and works on the traditional, unceded traditional territory of the Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen First Nations, also known as Surrey. Kristin is passionate about working with and supporting the work for under-represented communities and has volunteered and fundraised for numerous culturally diverse nonprofits in Vancouver and Edmonton. She’s previously worked at Pivot Legal Society, VIFF, Contemporary Art Gallery, Gateway Theatre, Ricepaper magazine and Geist magazine. She co-founded ‘The Future is you and me’, a free community mentorship program for young women of colour in the arts. ‘The Future’ aims to build a community of artists and leaders with an intersectional feminist lens. She has a Masters in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths University of London and spends her free time as a Board member at Centre A and Room magazine.

Mary-Anne McAllister

She/her/hers | Programs Manager

Mary-Anne McAllister is a creative and cultural producer from South Africa with over 8 years’ experience working in the arts sector. She now lives and works on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver. Her work is focussed on building collaborative networks to help cultivate a space of growth and opportunity for young creatives. Her practice includes creative producing, fine arts and curatorial work. She has an Honours Degree in Fine Art from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She has worked on many national and international collaborative community driven projects, programmes, and art exhibitions. She had also shown her own work as an exhibiting artist in South Africa. Her most recent collaborative work was as the co-producer of POWER TALKS Durban (2022) - supported by the Goethe Institut, curated and co-hosted by African Centre for Cities, and produced by Contemporary Archive Project, across three cities in South Africa.

Annika Walsh

Annika Walsh

They/Them/Theirs, She/Her/Hers | Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Annika Walsh is a transdisciplinary artist-researcher who explores food, cooking, and everything in between. Their work often takes the form of performance, participatory experiences, and other embodied modes of engagement. Love, gratitude, and curiosity are the compass points guiding Annika’s art-making and life-living. They completed a BFA with a specialization in Media Arts at the University of Ottawa in 2022. Currently completing a Master of Science in Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia, their research investigates how Chinese-Canadian adoptees’ relationships with food shape feelings of identity, connection, and belonging.

Ying Nan Shi

Ying Nan Shi

He/Him/His | Stage Manager

Ying Nan Shi is a multidisciplinary artist and stage manager with an M.F.A. in Dance Choreography from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (2025) and a B.F.A. in Dance Choreography/Performance from York University (2023). His work spans dance, theatre, and production, blending creative vision with technical precision.

As a stage manager, Ying has overseen productions including Drowned Chicken (thesis project, HKAPA, 2024) and served as a technician for Emotion Anxiety (HKAPA) and York University’s Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. His expertise extends to lighting design (Null, Mon Arch), movement direction (Let Us Have a Chat), and dance film choreography (山雨欲来 / Before the Storm).

Ying’s leadership is grounded in collaborative practice, having held roles as a theatre technician, health and safety committee member, and mentor for York Region schools. He is a National Dance Artist with the Canadian Council of the Arts (since 2022) and has participated in international residencies like Periphus Workshops in Greece (2024).

With a passion for storytelling through movement and production craft, Ying brings both artistic sensitivity and organizational rigor to every project.
